Dear God,
In this, the land of the free, where so many innocents are thrown into prison
Where so many are deprived of a chance to defend themselves,
And instead are thrown into prisons like sheep to the slaughter,
These innocents, taken advantage of by the system, have been forgotten; no longer do those in power care about finding justice,
But about making their own lives easier, even if it ruins countless others,
God, please help all of us to see and remember, help us to stand up to these injustices and right these wrongs.
