CST #7 Care for God's Creation
God has created all life, and so we should respect god and his creations as we would like to be respected by others. Not just life but god has also created our world which we are increasingly taking advantage of. We must strive to live with respect for all of gods creations, both man and material. We cannot house men like barn animals to be herded and caged like cattle, despite their wrongful actions those who are within the criminal system still deserve the respect that comes with being one of gods creations. Not just the people the but prisons themselves can become a blight apon the land, some contributing up to 150,000 gallons of water daily. Not to mention all the waste that is produced. We need to make sure that we take care of our planet. Prisons need to pay attention to their waste and deal with it accordingly instead of pushing the problems into the hands of the local communities.
